BackTrack provides guidance & education programs for at risk youth, assisting them to develop work-based skills and broaden their employment prospects. The Regional Australia Bank Grafton to Inverell ‘des Femmes’ is a feature race for women as part of the Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic Program. The event provides a unique opportunity for women to take on Australia’s toughest one day classic of 228km under the same conditions as men.
Suicide Prevention Australia is the peak body for suicide prevention in Australia, representing over 240 Members and Associates. Regional Australia Bank’s supports a PhD scholarship that undertakes new research into the reasons that can lead some rural and regional Australians to take their own life. The research will inform best practice for hospital-presenting deliberate self-harm, and the project will explore deliberate self-poisoning in regional Australia as well as investigate the impact on self-harm repetition outcomes of innovative services and policies.
Undoubtedly the major event on the Sawtell calendar, the Regional Australia Bank Sawtell Chilli Festival features over 100 chilli related stalls that offer a variety of foods and flavours from some of Australia’s leading chilli product manufacturers as we all local restaurants and cafés showcasing their own famous cuisine. This small seaside village comes alive during the Festival in July each year and showcases its impressive music scene, with artists that are both local and from further afield.
