Regional Australia Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of two distinguished Directors to its Board. The newly appointed directors, Jennifer Leslie and Julie Osborne bring a wealth of experience and expertise to further strengthen the leadership team of Regional Australia Bank. The new directors were appointed to the Board on Friday 24th November 2023.
Jennifer Leslie joins the Board of Directors bringing fifteen years of board-level experience and a diverse career forged in the Hunter Region. A Chartered Accountant who has held senior positions with national consulting firms, including Pitcher Partners. She has held board and committee positions with some of regional NSW’s most significant organisations including Newcastle Permanent, University of Newcastle, Hunter New England Local Health District and Maitland City Council.
Julie Osborne has a strong background in banking, finance, insurance, and the not-for-profit sector, and more than 25 years in financial services. In her 15 years at Westpac Banking Corporation, Julie led the Structured Finance business within the Treasury Division and served on various Westpac Group subsidiary companies in Australia and the United States. More recently, Julie consulted to KPMG in the Audit, Assurance and Risk Consulting practice with a focus on the financial services industry. She currently serves on the boards of various companies in Australia.
The Board of Directors welcomes Jennifer and Julie who will play a pivotal role in driving Regional Australia Bank’s continued success and growth. Their appointments underscore the bank’s dedication to maintaining a diverse and skilled leadership team capable of navigating the evolving financial landscape.

Additionally, Regional Australia Bank acknowledges the retirement of two esteemed directors, Kate James, serving 13 years as a director, and Neville Parsons’ 4 years as a director in addition to 35 years as Chief Executive Officer, and director, of Holiday Coast Credit Union who merged with Regional Australia Bank in 2019. Their dedication and contributions have been instrumental in shaping the bank’s trajectory, and we extend our sincere gratitude for their years of service.
