A one-time password (OTP) is a randomly generation, six digit number sent to your mobile phone via SMS or via a security token and is valid for one session or transaction.

It is required when making certain transactions in Internet Banking and its purpose is to make sure transactions are done by you and no one else.

We may send a OTP in the following instances;

Making a one off payment
Setting up a personal payee
Changing your personal details.
